Android 3.0 Will Have Movie Studio Video Editor

What good is having a platform for tablets, if you do not offer native applications for tablets? I do not know, but it might be why Google announced a video editing app for Android 3.0 (our dear Honeycomb). Movie Studio is coming to compete with iMovie, which for now is only available on super powered iPhone.

“When you can play with Honeycomb, you’ll get a sense of the beauty and power of this new interface. I love, “said Eric Schmidt, Google CEO, to talk about the new application. The Android Movie Studio should be available first in the Motorola Xoom, the tablet’s latest smartphone maker (and now also slates).

Among the app’s features, one of which caught my attention is the import content in the cloud. Who has an account on Picasa Web can download photos already saved in the service to include in a new movie. The application lets you merge photos and videos, as well as add soundtrack and even special effects.

In the statement of Movie Studio, a company official finished making your video and then held upload to YouTube with quality 720p. Sounds good, right?
