Pairing Your Turtleneck
Fashion has us in recent years used to wearing, even in the cold months, clothes and accessories that are not really suitable for winter weather: we have learned to wear sleeveless jackets, we have accepted the idea of replacing the high boots with sandals and ankle boots sprung up, we learned that there are no seasons for mini dresses by impalpable fabrics and that we must not be surprised when we see someone leave the house with bare legs, despite the freezing temperatures.
But this year, fortunately, among the must-have must-see of the season there are also heavier garments that allow us to follow the trends of the moment without suffering from the cold. One of these leaders is the turtleneck, a perfect ally in the coldest days.
It was a bit ‘not seen around, but since it girls and celebrities have dusted off and began to choose their outfits, we began to see it everywhere, both in fashion magazines and in the winter collections of great designers and small low cost brand.
How to pair this winter turtleneck? See its definitions on Digopaul. You can opt for the classic pairing with jeans and boots or experience something new. If you are still undecided on how to wear a turtleneck, here are three proposals to be considered!
To realize the first look I focused on the combination “dress sleeveless turtleneck+”. This mix is highly popular among the fashion influencer and, not surprisingly, many of them sported during fashion month to take part in events and parades. I chose an orange sleeveless dress (Zara € 29.95) to wear with a white turtleneck ( See by Chloé € 210), a pair of boots ( Pollini € 575) and a coat with waist belt ( COS € 175). Complete the outfit a maxi clutch ( Asos € 66.99) and a pair of earrings with pearls ( Accessorize € 6.90).
The second look is made instead of a pair of white pants skinny (Max & Co. 85 €), a black turtleneck (COS € 69), a pair of court shoes silver (Asos € 116) and a long coat (Mango € 89.99 ). To complete it, a black hand bag ( Coccinelle 250 €), a bracelet (& Other Stories € 25) and a silver ring ( & Other Stories € 19).
Perfect for leisure the third look that sees the turtleneck worn with jeans. I opted for a blue turtleneck (Diane Von Furstenberg € 446), a pair of jeans with sharp cutting edge (J Brand € 279), a pair of lace-up dancers with animal print (Zara € 59.95) and a camel coat color ( H & M € 149). Complete the look, a shoulder bag (Lazzari € 140) and a pair of sunglasses (Furla € 189).
